Organising your calendar should be easy and quick. The top Mac apps have a an elegant, functional design and sync easily between your Mac and iPhone and iPad. They allow you to divide your work and home calendars and display only the appointments that are important to you. They also allow you to alter the view of your agenda and include features such as natural language processing and click-and-drag time allocation for meetings.
One of the most recognizable names in mac tools Apple’s Calendar is available for free and comes with every Mac. Its simplicity makes it a great choice for those who only require the essentials. But it is also integrated with iMessages, Mail and Siri, which means that your appointments will show up in these apps. It comes with a variety of views including weekly, monthly, and an agenda view as well as an overview of the year. Apple Maps shows addresses and you can receive a travel time notification before an appointment. It doesn’t have a to-do list however, you can choose to pull your tasks from Reminders or Todoist and show them alongside your scheduled appointments.
BusyCal is another alternative. It has a similar design to Apple’s Calendar but offers some key distinctions. It offers five views (daily view, week view, month view year view, and a list), natural language processing, real-time animated feedback, and the ability drag meeting times. It also displays your tasks and integrates with apps like Trello and Todoist to manage tasks (creating new occurrences using Todoist cards or Zapier actions). It does not sync as quickly with multiple accounts as some of the choices on this list. However it Diligent Boards does work with iCloud Exchange.
